Honest answers
Is there a free trial?
No. We keep it simple instead: monthly billing you can cancel anytime, a prorated refund if you cancel mid-cycle, and free port-out if you leave. You are never locked in.
What does “unlimited calling” mean?
Unlimited calling to the US and Canada, subject to a fair-use threshold of 2,000 minutes per user per month, pooled across your team. Almost no small business ever approaches it. There are no overage charges: if your usage consistently runs higher, we will reach out and talk about a plan that fits rather than surprise-bill you.
Can I keep my current number?
Yes. Number porting in is free: submit the port from your dashboard and track its status step by step until the number cuts over. If you ever leave, porting out is free too.
Are taxes and fees extra?
No. The price you see is the price you pay. No regulatory recovery fees, no E911 surcharge, no separate tax line.
What equipment do I need?
A computer or phone with a modern browser and a microphone or headset. The softphone runs entirely in the browser, and you can also forward calls to any existing phone. Desk phone (SIP hardware) support is not available yet.
Does 911 work?
911 service is activated once you register a physical service address for your number, and it carries the limitations that apply to every VoIP service: it may be unavailable during a power or internet outage, and your registered address is what dispatchers rely on. Read the full 911 disclosure.
Can I text from my business number?
Yes. Send and receive SMS from your business number in a shared inbox, with a per-number toggle. US carriers require business-texting registration for sustained messaging, and our support team helps you through that during setup.
How do I get POS, Watch, or SMART Voice?
They are in early access. POS and Watch installs start with a short conversation and a site survey so we quote exactly what your location needs; SMART Voice can be added to any Phone account. Email support@dialringo.com and we will set you up.
What happens if I cancel?
Monthly plans run to the end of the billing cycle and you are not charged again; mid-cycle cancellations are prorated. Annual plans are refunded for unused months, less a 10% processing fee. Any prepaid international balance is refunded in full within 14 days. And your number stays yours: port-out is free.
