Business hours
Set a weekly schedule per number, in your timezone, with holidays — and choose what happens after hours.
Turn on business hours
Open the number's settings (Numbers → Configure) and expand Business hours. Check Only ring during business hours. A live Currently: Open/Closed badge shows how the schedule evaluates right now.
Set your schedule
- Pick your Timezone (US timezones from Eastern to Hawaii, including Arizona/Phoenix).
- Each day has an Open/Closed toggle and one or more time intervals — use Add interval for split shifts like 9–12 and 1–5. The default schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:00–17:00.
- List Holidays as dates (one YYYY-MM-DD per line); holiday dates are treated as fully closed.
Choose the closed behavior
Under When closed, pick Send to voicemail or Forward to another number (for example an answering service or the owner's cell). Save with Save business hours.
Business hours combine with the auto-attendant: during open hours the menu answers as usual; when closed, calls follow your closed behavior.
